ASCE’s Charleston Branch welcomes you on Friday, December 8th, for an ASCE luncheon meeting. Presenting this month will be Russ Cornette, PE with Berkeley County Engineering. This presentation will cover the explosive growth the Town of Summerville experienced over the past 20 years and discuss steps the town took to attempt to mitigate impacts caused by the growth. A central example will be the Bear Island Road, including the initial concept, resulting controversy, construction, and completion.

We will be meeting in the Riverview Room on The Citadel’s campus this month.

And as a reminder for in-person meetings, we ask you to keep the health and safety of yourself and others in mind.
